{"id":486,"date":"2014-01-07T12:09:44","date_gmt":"2014-01-07T17:09:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rv10.mirimar.org\/?p=486"},"modified":"2014-01-07T12:09:44","modified_gmt":"2014-01-07T17:09:44","slug":"rudder-drilling-part-1a","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rv10.mirimar.org\/?p=486","title":{"rendered":"Rudder Drilling &#8211; Part 1a"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The last few days I have been researching how to drill and countersink the rudder trailing edge.\u00a0 By hand measuring the AEX aluminum strip I determined the acute angle to be about 10-to-12 degrees.\u00a0 If the common drilled hole through both sides is perpendicular to the chord, this means the countersinking bit will be about 6 degrees off the drilled line when removing material to accept the skin dimples.
