Sport Aviation Article

Recognition of homebuilt effort for my plane appeared in the October edition of EAA’s Sport Aviation magazine.  The article speaks for itself.

EAA 2024

MARK and PETER’S BIG ADVENTURE

The completion of a homebuilt aircraft was the fulfillment of a life-long bucket list item.  Another was to fly that plane to EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI.  As a 43+ year EAA member, anticipation and preparation for the day has been a long time coming.

This post begins a series of videos on the wonderful experience obtained at the 2024 Oshkosh event.  This first installment shows the route and interim landings leading the the Fisk Arrival at Oshkosh and some of the memories filmed along the way.

One of the joys of flying to Oshkosh is showing the airplane to friends and family. A session for explaining the avionics and interior configuration to non-pilots was captured by my brother.

More to come…
